Techniques for Removing Pastel

Sometimes we build up too much pigment in some areas of our painting making it difficult or impossible to continue without first removing one or more layers—or we may want to go back to the original drawing or underpainting to rework some part of our painting. OR—we've grown to love that Undo command on our computer and want the same luxury in our pastel painting!
