  • #6 Filbert Bristle
  • #6 Bright White Bristle
  • #10 Bright White Bristle

Bring any other Brushes you wish

• If buying new brushes in KC and unsure, try
• Essex Green Handles at Coldsnow’s.
• Robert Simmons Series 40 and 41 are classically elegant and good buys, too.
• Both Utrecht cheaper and pricier white bristles are brushes I will NEVER spend money on again!!!

If your brushes are in poor condition, splayed, and/or with dried paint in them, purchase Winsor-Newtons' brush cleaner/reconditioner in the red and white label. It works excellently at cleaning suffering brushes. You will need to soak them for several to over 24 hours in many cases. Wash briskly with soap and water. Dry laying horizontally. See notes on brushes at Writings / Oil for other conditioning and refurbishing techniques.
